Pricing FAQ
Are the calculators really free, with no limits?+
Yes. SAFE conversion, dilution, cap table building, option-pool sizing and exit-waterfall modelling are unlimited and free on both plans — including CSV export and shareable links. Nothing about using Foundily to think through your own numbers is metered. Pricing only applies to unlimited saved scenarios and the API.
What happens if I go over my API quota?+
Free hard-caps at 100 requests/month — calls beyond that return a 429 until the next billing cycle. Pro includes 10,000 requests/month and then continues at $0.01/call, so an agent workload never just stops mid-task.
Is the API priced per seat or per usage?+
Per usage, not per seat. One API key per account, billed on request volume — there's no concept of 'per user' pricing because the API is designed to be called by automated agents as often as by people.
Can I use Foundily without ever entering a credit card?+
Yes — the Free plan (including the API's 100 requests/month and the MCP server) never requires billing details. You only add a card when upgrading to Pro.
Do you charge more for the MCP server or llms.txt?+
No. The MCP server, llms.txt and OpenAPI manifest are available on every plan at no extra cost — they're just different ways of reaching the same metered API.
